How to Choose an Inflatable Butt Plug

by Kate Miller on Dec 18 2025
Butt plugs are a favorite among anal sex enthusiasts, and these provide a profoundly pleasurable and exciting experience. But what about the people who need something more than the regular butt plug can deliver? In that case, we recommend you give inflatable butt plugs a try, as these are regular-sized toys that you can use as-is, but they inflate when you need the extra stretch to push your limits. Our experts outline all the things you need to know about how to choose an inflatable butt plug and the key things about satisfactory use. What Is an Inflatable Butt Plug? The inflatable butt plug is a butt plug that can be inflated to a bigger size to provide a more extensive stretch. When not inflated, it looks like a regular butt plug that you can insert and enjoy. But, depending on the design, it can inflate manually via a pump and a hose that is attached to the butt plug, or use the automatic inflation option if you have a high-tech model. In any case, the inflatable butt plug will test your limits and provide you with a next-level anal playtime. Shop Inflatable Butt Plugs ===COLLECTION=== How to Choose an Inflatable Butt Plug? When you select an inflatable butt plug, you need to be aware of several things that will enable you to have an enjoyable, safe experience. Before you buy your new inflatable butt plug, you should consider your experience and focus on models made from body-safe materials: Design – the inflatable butt plugs come in a straightforward spade-like design, but some exotic models are shaped as beads, a penis, or have a more ergonomic shape aimed at targeted P-spot stimulation. Inflation type – basically, you can get an inflatable butt plug that you manually inflate or get a model that has automatic inflation. If you get a model that inflates manually, you can fine-tune the size you want, but you have to manually inflate it. The automatically inflated butt plugs usually don’t allow fine-tuning of the size but are more comfortable to use. Deflation type – the inflatable butt plugs need to have quick-release valves for safe use, as these allow you to quickly deflate the plug should something go wrong or you need to remove it. The manually inflatable butt plugs have a quick-release valve that quickly deflates the toy, while the automatically inflating butt plugs have a deflation button that does the same thing. Size – you need to be aware of the size of the inflatable butt plug and know the non-inflated size and the inflated size. It will help you determine whether you can safely use the toy and how much it will stretch your boundaries (and your back door). We always list all relevant information about our products, including the sizes that are not inflated and those that are inflated. Material – the best choice for inflatable butt plugs is silicone, as this is a body-safe, non-porous material that is perfect for anal use. But you can also find excellent inflatable butt plugs made from rubber and are safe for anal use, although they require more diligent cleaning. Extra features – under extra features, we consider remote controllers, vibrations, vibrating or suction cup bases, and other features users may enjoy. Benefits of Using an Inflatable Butt Plug Using a butt plug in your sexy games is quite fun, but an inflatable butt plug is on a whole new level of anal play. Enhanced stimuli – the inflatable butt plugs can be used in two ways – in the size they are for regular anal teasing and the inflated size that will stretch your limits and provide an intensely pleasurable sensation. Anal training & gaping – the butt plug is excellent for anal training and introduction to anal sex. Still, the inflatable butt plug is even more helpful for hard-core anal training and anal gaping. Prostate stimulation – the butt plugs target the prostate in men, which is known as the P-spot, which can induce powerful orgasms, and the inflatable plugs provide an even deeper, more intense stimulation. Tips for Safe Inflatable Butt Plug Use You need to approach inflatable butt plugs with care, as these can be very pleasurable but also very dangerous if you don’t know what you are doing. So, here are some essential tips to help you use an inflatable butt plug safely: Start with a clean toy – always clean your inflatable butt plug before and after use. Wash it with antibacterial sex toy cleaner and warm water, pat it dry, and it will be ready to use. Tend to only use inflatable butt plugs that are non-porous and easy to clean to ensure you have a safe toy to play with. Always use lube – the anus does not self-lubricate, so you need a lot of lube so you can safely use the inflatable butt plug. We recommend you use a quality water-based lube, as this is compatible with all sex toy materials. If you have an inflatable butt plug made from latex, you can use a silicone-based lube, which is long-lasting and doesn’t dry out, but please note that these are not compatible with silicone toys. Start slow – if you are using a butt plug for the first time, it is perfectly natural to feel some reluctance, so start slow and easy when you first insert the inflatable butt plug. After you gain some experience, you can start playing around with the inflatable feature. Start slowly, with only one press of the pump, to see how you like the sensations, and never be too zealous to fully inflate the butt plug on the first try. Go slowly and enjoy the sensations, and stop if something feels off. ===COLLECTION=== We hope that this guide on how to choose an inflatable butt plug covers all the basics. How to Choose a Large Butt Plug

by Kate Miller on Dec 18 2025
Butt plugs provide anal stimulation, but the large butt plugs test the limit of your body by stretching the anus and providing a sense of over-fullness that many find pleasing. Much larger in length and diameter than regular butt plugs, the large butt plugs are also suited for people wanting to experience anal gaping and people who enjoy stretching their limits. Our experts discuss all you need to know on how to choose a large butt plug, and we also discuss a few tips on how to safely use a large butt plug so you can reap all the pleasure and none of the pain. What Is a Large Butt Plug? A large butt plug has the same shape and design as a regular butt plug, but it differs in its size. Generally, any butt plug that is over 3 inches in insertable length and 1.6 inches in diameter is considered a large butt plug. The large butt plugs are made from quality materials and come in all the regular shapes as regular-sized butt plugs, but you need to have previous experience using anal toys to be able to safely insert and wear a large butt plug. Shop Large Butt Plugs ===COLLECTION=== How to Choose a Large Butt Plug? Selecting a large butt plug is almost the same as selecting any type of anal toy, as the key things are a body-safe material and size you can safely manage. Still, we list all the important things to note when you are shopping for a large butt plug: Experience level – to safely take a large butt plug up your backdoor, you need to have previous experience with butt plugs, so we suggest you start playing with an anal training kit that starts with small anal toys and has models in progressively larger sizes, to get your anus used to the stretching sensations. Design – large butt plugs come in a straightforward spade-like design, with some models having a slightly elongated shape that allows easy insertion and comfortable wear. Size – we are talking about large butt plugs, so you need to be aware of their size. A general rule considers butt plugs that are over 3.5 inches long and more than 1.7 inches wide to be on the large side, and anything over this size is definitely a large butt plug. Material – the best sex toy material is silicone, as this is a body-safe, non-porous material that is effortless to clean. However, there are many well-made models made from TPE, rubber, glass, and even metal that you can use and clean with ease. Extra features – here, we list large butt plugs with vibrations, models with manual “vibrations,” weighted butt plugs, models with suction cups, and similar features. Benefits of Using a Large Butt Plug Using a butt plug adds a sense of forbidden pleasure to your sexual pleasure, as we often have a preconceived notion we are doing something we should not do. The key to pleasurable anal play is to relax and let go of the pleasure you are about to receive and not be afraid to enjoy yourself. So, here are the key benefits you’ll get when you add a large butt plug to your sexy games: Enhanced anal stimulation – the large butt plugs provide more intense sensations than regular butt pugs and even inflatable butt plugs. It is because these are larger in length and diameter and offer a constant push against the sensitive tissues in the anal region. Anal training & anal gaping – the large butt plug is the next level in your anal training, as its extensive body will train the anus for more comfortable anal sex. It is also suited for people who want to try more hardcore anal plays like anal gaping. Tips to Safely Use a Large Butt Plug Before you can place a large butt plug up your anus, you must first start with smaller toys like anal trainers, anal beads, and regular butt plugs, as the large butt plugs are large. Here are some essential tips to help you safely start playing with a large butt plug: Wash your large butt plug – always clean your butt plugs before and after use. Rinse it with soap and warm water before you use it, and after you are finished, give it a good scrub down with antibacterial soap and warm water. If you are using a silicone toy, you can dip it in a mild bleach solution to ensure it is spotless and bacteria-free. Always use lube – the anus does not self-lubricate, so lube is mandatory when you use any anal toy. We recommend you use a quality water-based lube with your silicone butt plugs, and you can use a silicone-based lube with your large butt plugs made from glass, metal, or latex. Start slow & listen to your body – never rush when it comes to anal play, but take a deep breath and slowly insert the large butt plug in the anus. It is advisable to have a bowel movement before any type of anal play, so take your time to poop, and if you feel like it, do an anal douche to clean the anus. Lube the large butt plug and your back door and get in the most comfortable position for you and push in slowly. Your body will give some resistance, so don’t force things, but try relaxing with some foreplay and never force things but listen to your body. ===COLLECTION=== Our guide on how to choose a large butt plug covers the basics, but we also have a lot more information and guides on choosing and using other sex toys in our blog. How to Choose a Silicone Butt Plug

by Kate Miller on Dec 18 2025
Silicone is one of the safest materials that sex toys are made from, as the features of this material are suited for different uses without risks. It is also easily moldable into various shapes, and you’ll be surprised by the fantastic silicone sex toys available today. Here, we’ll discuss more in-depth about silicone butt plugs, including how to choose a silicone butt plug, how to clean one, and how to safely use it. Before we continue, we need to mention that we are fans of all types of silicone sex toys. What Is a Silicone Butt Plug? The silicone butt plugs are butt plugs made entirely or coated in silicone, and these provide a more comfortable and body-safe experience. Silicone is non-porous, semi-flexible, and durable, and it does not release any harmful chemicals, so that you can use it in your sensitive areas. Also, silicone is effortless to clean, and you can wash your silicone butt plug with soap and water or with a sex toy cleaner. But you can also sterilize a silicone butt plug with a bleach solution; you can boil the non-motorized silicone butt plug but also wash it in the dishwasher. Shop Silicone Butt Plugs ===COLLECTION=== How to Choose a Silicone Butt Plug? When you are after a quality silicone butt plug, you need to be aware of several things that will ensure you’ll get a butt plug you can safely use for years. As you have the material choice already settled, you should pay attention to: Your experience level – we are putting this first, as we believe you need to base your butt plug choice on your experience, as beginners should pick smaller butt plugs or an anal training kit that they can use safely and enjoyably. Intermediate users can transition to intermediate-size butt plugs, while highly experienced people can go for large silicone butt plugs that provide intense pleasure. Design – you can select silicone butt plugs that have a slim, elongated shape, a teardrop shape or you can get models that have a spade-like shape, or you can get a model with bulbs or some other exciting yet ergonomic shape. The shape of your silicone butt plug plays a vital role in how you can use it and the sensations it provides. Size – the size of your silicone butt plug is another thing you must think about because beginners should buy smaller anal toys, while experienced users can get a large butt plug. As a general rule, any butt plug that has over 3.5 inches of insertable length and more than 1.7 inches at the widest part is considered a large butt plug. Additional features – you can find silicone butt plugs with jeweled bases, inflatable butt plugs, vibrating butt plugs coated in silicone, models with suction cups, textured models, and other features. Types of Silicone Butt Plugs The silicone butt plugs come in different shapes and sizes, but here we can separate two special types of silicone butt plugs on top of the regular silicone models you can find in our store: Jeweled silicone butt plugs – these are silicone butt plugs that have an ABS or semi-precious stone “jewel” embedded into the base, and these add a dose of luxury and exoticness to your anal play. Vibrating silicone butt plugs – these are silicone butt plugs that feature a vibrating mechanism that provides a new level of anal play. Benefits of Using a Silicone Butt Plug Using a silicone butt plug is one of the most exciting toys for anal play, as you have a toy made from body-safe material that can be intense and pleasurable to use: Enhanced anal pleasure – the silicone butt plug can provide you with stimulating sensations as it stretches and stimulates the thousands of nerve endings in the anus, which many people find highly pleasurable. Train your anus for more – the silicone butt plug is an excellent choice for training your anus for more, like a bigger butt plug, or to prepare your body for anal sex. You can gradually increase the size of the silicone butt plug you use over time to stretch your anus and prepare for your partner’s penis. Safe use – silicone is body-safe and very durable, as it does not release any substances, nor does it lose its characteristics over time. It is non-porous, which means it will not absorb smells, and it is effortless to clean and keep pristine. Silicone is only compatible with water-based lubes, so make sure you stock up on a quality water-based lube. Tips to Safely Use a Silicone Butt Plug The important thing when using a silicone butt plug is to get a model that is fit for your experience level. Also, make sure you have a bowel movement before you start anal play, and you can also do an anal douche to rinse and clean your rectum and more efficiently and comfortably embark on your anal play. We always suggest you focus on your safety and your pleasure when using a silicone butt plug, and keep note of these tips: Use compatible lube – you must use water-based lube with your silicone butt plug, as silicone-based and oil can deteriorate the silicone surface. Clean your silicone butt plug – cleaning your silicone butt plug is effortless, as silicone is non-porous, and most often, silicone butt plugs are waterproof and can be washed with soap and water or sex toy cleaner. You can also sterilize your non-vibrating silicone butt plugs in boiling water or run it on a quick cycle in the dishwasher. Make sure you store your silicone butt plugs in safe sex toy storage bags, away from other silicone materials. Slow and easy insertion – always start slow and easy, and never force your silicone butt plug into the anus. Listen to your body, stop and relax if necessary, and enjoy the sensations of slowly stretching your anus and placing your silicone butt plug inside. ===COLLECTION=== Our guide on how to choose a silicone butt plug covers the basics, but we also have a lot more information and guides on choosing and using other sex toys in our blog. How to Choose & Use an Anal Douche

by Kate Miller on Dec 18 2025
A clean bum is important for health reasons, but it is also a perfect preparation for anal sex. Sometimes you can do it with a simple bowel movement and a warm shower, but it is also good to do an anal douche from time to time to rinse and clean the rectum, so you will feel clean and confident when you engage in anal play. Here, our experts will outline all you need to know about anal douches, from how to choose an anal douche, the safety concerns, and how to effectively use the anal douche for a clean bum and clean anal playtime. What Is an Anal Douche? Anal douching is a procedure where you use a special anal douche tool to flush your rectum with water. It is a simple and safe procedure where you squirt warm water in the rectum and expel it, taking all remnants of feces with it, leaving you feeling cleaner. It is an excellent way to take care of any worry about poop coming out and running your fun. You can find a lot of specialized anal douche tools that make the entire anal douching quick and straightforward to do. Shop Anal Douches and Enemas ===COLLECTION=== How to Choose an Anal Douche? When you choose an anal douche, here are the things you need to know that will make the entire process more comfortable: The type of nozzle – the nozzle is the most critical part of the anal douche, as it goes into the rectum. You can pick a straight nozzle that shoots in a straight line, but there are also wide-spray nozzles that shoot water in multiple directions, more quickly cover a wider area, and provide a thorough cleaning. The length and width of the nozzle – you need to consider the size and the width of the nozzle, but this comes down to personal preference. The longer enema nozzle can reach deeper into the rectum, while the shorter one will only reach near the entrance. The diameter of the nozzle is also essential, and beginners should stick to a thin, short anal douche tool. Experienced users can probably handle a broader and longer nozzle that can reach more depth. Liquid capacity – here, we are talking about the anal douche’s capacity to hold liquid. For example, syringe-like models have a small capacity; the douche bulbs can hold more liquid, while the enema bags can hold a lot of volume. Again, it comes down to personal preference and how often you plan on using the anal douche. If you are looking for a reliable model for regular use, then you can get a shower enema set. Material – the anal douche nozzle can be made from silicone, plastic, or metal. Metal and plastic models are non-flexible and require careful positioning when you use them, while silicone and some plastics are flexible, and you can more easily use these. Extra features – yes, there are anal douches with additional features, and one is the shape of the nozzle, as there are models with bead-like nozzles that not only provide you with a way to clean your rectum but also provide a pleasurable experience. Some models are grooved or patterned, and these not only help flush the rectum but are also helpful as pleasure nozzles. Types of Anal Douches Anal douches come in several types, and choosing the one that appeals to you the most is down to personal preference, as all of these have the same purpose of flushing the rectum and giving you a clean area to play: Anal douche bulbs – these are the simplest of all models, as they feature a spray nozzle and a bulb that holds the liquid. To use this model, insert the spray nozzle in the anus and squeeze the bulb. Water bottle enema adapter – this is not a complete anal douche, but it is an adapter that fits over a water bottle that you can use to do an anal douche. Enema bottle – this is a complete enema kit that includes a pump-action bottle connected to a hose and a spray nozzle. Shower enema set – this is a complete set that you attach to your shower and use to flush your rectum. These don’t have a water container, but use the water flow from the house pipes to rinse the anus, but you need to be careful, adjust the temperature and the water pressure. Benefits of Anal Douching Anal douching has several health benefits on top of providing a feeling of freshness and comfort. It reduces contact with fecal matter, bacteria, and parasites and is a highly hygienic thing to put you at ease when you engage in any anal play. For many people, anal douching before sex is a way to feel cleaner and to enhance their pleasure. But as there are benefits, there are downsides to anal douching, as you need to be careful when anal douching. You must be careful not to use too warm water or use the wrong douching equipment. Don’t use any soap when douching, as this poses a health risk. Tips to Safely Do an Anal Douche First thing, try to have a bowel movement, i.e., poop, as it will take care of the majority of fecal matter in the rectum. Then, wash the anus with warm water and soap, and make sure the area is free of dirt and hair. Make sure you wash your hands and all the equipment before and after douching, and follow these tips: Use warm water that is at body temperature, as the tissues in the anus are sensitive, and you can inadvertently burn yourself. Squeeze as much of the liquid as possible from the nozzle, then release the pressure, flushing the anus. Use very little water when you first douche, and hold the liquid for about 30 seconds, allowing the solution to reach all the tissues. Try to relax as much as possible, as you can make yourself uncomfortable if you hold your breath. Don’t exaggerate with anal douching, but you can do it regularly. We suggest you limit your anal douching routine to two times per week, as any more than this, you risk damaging your rectum or your colon. Use water-based lube to insert the douche nozzle into your anus. It will make things easier, and you won’t risk tearing the sensitive skin on your anus. ===COLLECTION=== We made this short guide on how to choose an anal douche, and it only covers the basics, but we also have a detailed guide on how to do an anal douche, and we have plenty of other posts on choosing and using different sex toys in our blog. The insertable butt plugs are made from silicone, metal, or another material, providing a safe and exciting experience. Shop Tail Butt Plugs ===COLLECTION=== How to Choose a Tail Butt Plug? When choosing a tail butt plug, you need to know several things that will help you find the best model for you. Here, our experts expand on all the facts that will help you select a suitable tail plug for your needs: Your experience level – this is the primary thing to consider when you select a sex toy is your previous experience. If you are just starting with anal toys, we recommend you get a smaller butt plug that will be easier to insert and wear so that you can get used to the sensations. You can also start with an anal training kit, and after you gain some experience, you can move on to a larger tail butt plug. Design – you can select butt plugs that have a slim, elongated shape, or you can get models that have a spade-like shape, or you can get a model with bulbs or some other exciting yet ergonomic shape. The shape of your chosen tail butt plug will determine how long you can wear it and how much of a stretch it will provide. Butt plug material – the tail butt plugs are usually made from silicone, metal, or TPE/PVC. These are body-safe materials and are comfortable to use. We always emphasize that you need to select models made from silicone or metal, as these are non-porous and very easy to clean. Tail – you can get butt plugs with various tails, ranging from small fluffy bunny tails and runner puppy tails to long fox tails, cat tails, unicorn tails, and so much more. Also, you can get a model that has the tail firmly attached to the butt plug or get a model with a detachable butt plug that you can remove when you don’t want to play with it or for easy cleaning. The tails are usually made from faux fur that is easy to maintain, but you can also find models with genuine fur that require extra diligence for cleaning and maintenance. Extra features – you can find tail butt plugs that vibrate, get textured tail butt plugs, or models with interchangeable tails. Types of Tail Butt Plugs The tail butt plugs come in different shapes and sizes, but where they really differ is in the tail attachments, so here we list the various tail butt plugs you can find in our store: Fox tail butt plug Cat tail butt plug Mink tail butt plug Bunny tail butt plug Puppy tail butt plug Pony tail butt plug Unicorn tail butt plug Rainbow tail butt plug Benefits of Using a Tail Butt Plug Using a tail butt plug gives you all the benefits you would get from a regular butt plug, with the addition of enhancing your role-playing games. We recommend you get a butt plug made from a body-safe material like silicone, glass, or stainless steel, get a tail that fits your fantasies, and enjoy the following benefits: Role-play – the tail butt plugs are perfect for satisfying your role-playing fantasies. If you enjoy puppy play or wish to transform into a sex kitten or a sly, sexy fox, then a tail butt plug is the perfect sexy toy to get and live out your sexual fetishes. Targeted anal pleasure – using a butt plug is a way to ensure you get targeted anal stimulation that will stretch the anus and excite the nerve endings there, which is a highly pleasurable activity for many. Train your anus for sex – wearing a butt plug prepares the anus for penetrative sex, and the tail butt plug combines several fantasies into one. Tips to Safely Use a Tail Butt Plug We suggest you start your tail butt plug adventures with a smaller butt plug that you can more easily and more comfortably wear. Before you begin with anal play, it is recommended to have a bowel movement (poop) before you start; you can also do an anal douche to rinse and clean your rectum to feel extra clean and comfortable. Here are some other helpful tips when you use a tail butt plug: Always use compatible lube – you must use water-based lube with your silicone butt plug, and you can use silicone-based lube if you have a metal or glass butt plug. Try to limit the lube to the insertable part and not get lube on the tail section, as it will ruin the visual effect, and you’ll have to thoroughly clean the entire toy. Start slow and easy – always start slow with anal play, preferably with enough foreplay to get your body in the mood. Don’t force the butt plug in the anus, but listen to your body’s responses, relax, and breathe deeply so that you can have a highly satisfactory time. Clean your butt plug – cleaning your tail butt plug is essential, as you need to clean it before and after use. If your tail butt plug has a removable tail, you should remove it and wash each part separately. The non-vibrating butt plugs are effortless to wash, as you can use sex toy cleaner and warm water. Cleaning the tail requires more diligence, depending on whether it is made from faux or real fur. For this, you must follow the manufacturer’s instructions to wash the tail section of your tail butt plug. ===COLLECTION=== We shared our guide on how to choose a tail butt plug that only covers the basics, but we also have a lot more information and guides on choosing and using other sex toys in our blog. How to Properly Stretch Your Anus for Anal Play

by Kate Miller on Dec 17 2025
While the butt is considered a highly desirable feature of both men and women, anal play is still discussed only behind closed doors and pulled curtains. And why would we focus so much on the butt if we can't play with it? While most people may not be willing to say it openly, many have tried experimenting with anal play and liked doing it. Whatever your gender or sexual orientation, anal play can be a pleasurable experience that opens a whole new hole (pun intended) for you. Anal play isn't a single act; it can involve numerous toys and different sensations. However, before you get on with it, there are certain things you need to know about stretching your anus in a safe and ultimately pleasurable way. Anal stretching vs. anal gaping Before engaging in anal play, stretching your anus is recommended. Anal stretching will help you open the anal gape, which is the look of the anus after perpetual extension. But how do you get there? For your anal stretching, you can use fingers and numerous sex toys, starting with small butt plugs and anal beads to large dildos. The stretching should be done gradually and with the consent of the receiving partner. Since the anus is flexible and tends to return to its primary form, some stretching won't open the anal gape. Gaping occurs only after extended anal play when the muscles are fully relaxed and open. It’s appealing for several reasons and can make sex more manageable and comfortable for the recipient, reducing pain levels. Purposeful anal stretching to create the anal gape is frequently used in BDSM to challenge power dynamics between the dominant and submissive partner. Getting ready for anal play Anal play is fun and undoubtedly pleasurable both for the giver and the receiver; however, it does require a little preparation. Anal stretching is part of the process, although it may be considered the most crucial step in the long run. Here are a few things to remember before engaging in anal sex. Does it hurt? To enjoy anal play, you need to get in the right mindset. If you're learning to stretch your anus and are a beginner at doing anal stuff, discomfort and minimal pain is common at the beginning. However, that doesn't mean you should sit still and do nothing if the pain gets excruciating or unbearable. The pain can be minimized if you gradually stretch your anus and don't rush the process. With proper training and tons of lube, you may reduce the pain to zero, and at best, you may feel slight discomfort when a toy or a penis enters your anus. Being open about how the process feels and how much it hurts is essential, as letting your partner force themselves into you might bring on a lot of bleeding and bad injuries. How deep can you go? The depth of the anal canal and rectum differs for each person; how deep they can be penetrated depends on biological and circumstantial factors. On average, the surgical anal canal is 1.5 inches long, and the rectum is 4.5 inches long, allowing bigger toys and deeper penetration. However, to feel comfortable being penetrated to that depth, anal stretching is necessary. The anal canal and the rectum need to be accustomed to things of different sizes moving through them, and gradually going deeper into the anus is the only safe way to stretch yourself. Would you get 'loose'? This is a general question that concerns many people. The anus regularly stretches during bowel movements and returns to its primary position. The same is true for purposeful anal stretching. The goal is to get the body used to have something in the anus for prolonged periods without feeling pain. After the anal play, even if you reach the point of anal gaping, the anus will return to its usual size shortly. Although the anus itself won't get loose, your sphincter muscle might. This is the muscle at the end of your anus which keeps the feces in and dictates when you're defecating. Its loosening can happen only after a prolonged time of practicing anal sex. However, for those who are unwilling to give up this pleasure, there are Kegel exercises specifically designed to train the sphincter muscle and ensure its elasticity, preventing it from getting loose. Is it permanent If you practice safe anal play, the stretching effects are never permanent. The anus will go to its regular form shortly after you stretch it. To avoid damaging your sphincter muscle or causing any other injury, you need to get your anus relaxed. Ultimately, anal stretching will never affect the form of your anus; it simply makes your muscles more flexible and accustomed to being penetrated with different-sized objects. Anal douching No one wants to think about poop during erotic play, which is why it's essential to keep the hygiene around your anus to a maximum level. While not everyone does it, anal douching is an excellent way to ensure your anus is clean and ready to be played with. Anal douching involves squirting water into your anus and letting it void to ensure no extra waste in the rectum. Douching may not be necessary if you're using toys only; however, you might want to try it if you plan on getting penetrated. After all, the anus is full of bacteria, and not cleaning it as much as possible beforehand may result in unnecessary infections spreading onto your or your partner's genitalia. How to stretch your anus? Stretching your anus, whether for the fun and pleasure of doing it or as preparation for getting penetrated, is a delicate matter. Apart from managing hygiene, you must use the proper devices and methods to ensure maximum comfort. Below we'll give tips on safely stretching your anus for anal play. The smaller, the better Whatever the goal, anal stretching should be done slowly and gradually.' It's a journey that you should take one size at a time, and the easiest way to do so is to try an anal stretching kit. These kits usually involve butt plugs and dildos of different sizes; some even have instructions and time frame manuals on how to be used most effectively. If you prefer to do your own shopping, purchase the most miniature plug for starters. Even if you feel it's something you can easily take in, the sensation of having something enter your anus instead of exiting it requires time to get used to. Moreover, it's better to start with something that seems manageable and easy to get in than risk forcing a bigger-sized toy into your anus and injuring yourself. Take your time Every anus is different, which means each person will take different lengths of time to stretch it. Reading up and informing yourself about how long it took other people may give you a general idea, but the key is to listen to your body. Take it slow, and don't rush the process. You use a single toy for as long as you like until you feel comfortable moving on to a bigger size. If you're using an anal stretching kit, you'll know beforehand which size comes next and can evaluate whether you're ready to move on from what you're wearing. Practice makes perfect The longer and more often you engage in anal stretching, the better result you'll have. Although the process shouldn't be rushed, finding a suitable toy to play with daily is best if you're committed to making your anus flexible. If you decide to use butt plugs, there's no limit to how much time you can wear them. A few minutes a day is fine, but it's okay if you deceit wear it for prolonged periods. Additionally, moving with the toy inside you will increase your sexual drive and make you feel even more motivated to engage in anal play. You can make your partner part of the process to keep it fun. They can help you insert the toys as a form of foreplay and proceed to please you in other ways while you're wearing the plug. ===COLLECTION=== Which toys can you use to stretch? You have many sex toys for sexual play, including anal. Many sex toys can be used for anal stretching; however, we'll be discussing the two primary choices that are safest and easiest to use. Butt plugs The number one on our list is the infamous butt plug. Although this sounds simple enough, you should consider the variety of butt plugs before buying one. The main difference is in size and materials. Usual anal stretching kits include butt plugs of different sizes made from non-porous and body-safe materials. They are often metal or silicone; however, you can also give glass butt plugs a try. If you want to save time, you can also opt for inflatable butt plugs. It is essentially a small plug that, instead of taking it out and switching it for a bigger one, you inflate it to a size you feel comfortable with. Since there's much variety, butt plugs are the most efficient to use and purchase. Additionally, you'll benefit from wearing it safely throughout the day and commencing your anal training while doing work or chores. Dildos Like butt plugs, dildos can effectively help you stretch your anus with minimal effort. Since they can't be left in your body for hours, you'll need to set aside some time each day to engage in anal stretching. Dildos are more fun when used with a partner since they can penetrate you while you dictate their movements and voice your pleasure. Although not the best for beginners, they are a good option for those whose goal is to be penetrated. They come in different sizes, materials, and shapes, so make sure to start with a smaller and smoother dildo. Other things to consider Size is important; however, there are other factors to consider when purchasing your sex toys. After all, you insert them into your body, so they should be safe and comfortable for use. Weight You might want to consider their weight if you opt for wearable sex toys such as butt plugs. Heavier toys may increase the pressure and stimulate your anus better. However, for beginners, heavy toys are often uncomfortable and make you feel like the toy will slip out at any moment. For that purpose, it's better to use silicone toys which are lighter and easier to slip in, rather than toys from stainless steel. Shape Anal training sex toys come in all kinds of shapes. They can resemble a real-life penis or have irregular forms designed to reach the right spot. However, as a newbie to anal stretching, you'll need something small with a smooth surface and straight form. Still, even if you opt for another shape, ensure the toy has a flared base. Material As we mentioned, it's best to use toys from non-porous materials that aren't easily affected by extended use. You could choose glass or metal toys if you like the aesthetics. However, silicone toys are best for beginners. They're softer, more flexible, and extra durable if you take proper care of them. Related Article: Best Anal Stretchers Reviewed Best positions Finding the best position for anal stretching depends on your comfort level and whether or not a partner is involved. If you're doing the stretching on your own, the best action is to lie down on your side, clench the knees to your head and use your hand to insert the toy. As an alternative, many people use the squatting position. This stretches your anus wider and allows for easier insertion. Those who practice anal stretching with their partner have many more positioning options. You can lie down on your stomach while your partner sits on or beside you. You can also try doggy style, get on all four, or bend over something and fully expose your anus to your partner. Additionally, you can try laying on your back and getting your feet up, but this works better when you're being penetrated rather than just stretched with a toy. Whatever position you choose, it's essential to trust your partner and be vocal about how you're feeling. Cleaning Your Toys It is vital to stay safe from injuries, but the same goes for infections. Since the anus is the final part of our biological waste system, bacteria and germs pass through it. Getting yourself clean before anal stretching is just one side of the coin, as your toys should be clean too. Maintaining your toys' hygiene depends on their material and whether they contain any battery mechanisms. Toys made from porous materials, such as PVC or TPE, are harder to upkeep as they harbor bacteria easily, even after being cleaned. On the other hand, non-porous toys are a lot more low-maintenance. Stainless steel, glass, or silicone toys can be easily rinsed with warm water, soap, and a towel. You can also put them in the dishwasher, boil them for disinfection or use sex toy cleaning solutions to ensure maximum hygiene. Adding condoms even while using them is a great way to ease the cleaning process and quickly remove excess waste from the toy. After washing them, you can leave them to air dry and safely store them in a bag to ensure they stay clean until their subsequent use. Most people clean their toys only after using them. However, if you want to be extra safe, wash them beforehand. ===COLLECTION=== Final thoughts No matter how taboo, anal play is not something you want to miss out on. Our anus is one of the many erogenous zones on the body with thousands of nerve ends that are almost certain to give you pleasure if you decide to stimulate them. In terms of how much you want to stretch your anus and whether you like to experience anal gaping, there are a lot of devices and sex toys you could use. Both butt plugs and dildos come in different shapes, materials, colors, and sizes, so finding one you like won't be too hard. Those feeling adventurous can also experiment with vibrating anal toys for more powerful sensations and more pleasurable training. If you enjoy trying to fit new and bigger things into your anus or want to take your boyfriend's penis anally without feeling pain, anal stretching can be as pleasurable for you as for your partner. Get in the right mindset, start small, stay consistent, and your booty will get flexible in no time!

How to Choose Anal Beads?

by Kate Miller on Dec 17 2025
Anal beads are an incredible sex toy that provides so much pleasure when used correctly. These can rock your world and bring you to new orgasmic heights. These are designed to go up the butt and be inserted and removed in rapid movements to massage the anal opening and heighten the sensations. Here, our experts discuss how to choose anal beads, but we also share critical things about using anal beads to the most significant effect. What are Anal Beads? Anal beads are, as the name suggests, beads on a string that you use for anal stimulation. The main goal of the anal beads is to stimulate the anus and enhance the sensations. These are particularly effective when you take them out during an orgasm, as the rhythmic stretching and relaxing of the anus is intensely pleasurable. We carry a fantastic selection of anal beads that range from simple beads on a string to high-tech vibrating models and much more. ===COLLECTION=== How to Choose Anal Beads? When it comes to choosing anal beads, the first thing you need to look for is anal beads made from body-safe materials. But there is more to look for, and here is what you need to note when choosing anal beads: Material – we always remind you to get anal toys, including anal beads made from body-safe materials like silicone, stainless steel, or glass, as these are non-porous, body-safe, and effortless to clean and sterilize. We suggest you stay away from TPE or jelly anal beads, as these are porous. Design – anal beads come with a simple design or a string of beads or spheres with increasing sizes. You can basically choose between anal beads with a different beads count, vibrating models, and firm or flexible models. The flexibility of the string plays a crucial role in using these, and silicone anal beads are relatively flexible, while stainless steel and glass anal beads are rigid and unyielding. Size & length – the size of the individual beads and the length of the anal bead string are essential, especially for beginners in anal play, who should stick to smaller toys and anal beads with fewer and smaller size beads. Experienced users can enjoy models with more beads that are larger in diameter. Extra features – under extras, we count vibrations, spiraling beads, anal bead sets, a T-shaped or O-shaped base, and similar features. We suggest you think about the extra features and get a model that appeals to you, and you can later experiment with a different model. Benefits of Using Anal Beads Using anal beads is fantastic, and its primary purpose is heightened pleasure. The anal beads are used during sex, and the increasing size of the beads allows you to gradually insert them one by one and savor the delicious stretch. These are a form of sensory play, as these intensify orgasms and provide uniquely pleasurable sensations. The best way to use these is to insert them in the anus one by one and pull them out during orgasm, as the plop-plop sensation while pulling them out causes rhythmic contractions on the anus that amplifies the pleasure. And the last benefit of using anal beads is that it expands the sexual horizons and allows you to explore new avenues of pleasure with your partner. Using these can bring you closer to your partner, as you need to discuss boundaries and sexual fantasies. Tips on Using Anal Beads Here we only share some essential tips that we believe will help you use your anal beads with pleasure: Select a model that is suitable for your experience and comfort level. Clean your anal beads before and after use to ensure you have a clean anal toy that is free from bacteria. You can use antibacterial soap and warm water or use sex toy cleaner. Use suitable lube; if you use silicone anal beads, use water-based lube, and if you have glass or metal anal beads, you can branch out to silicone lube. Start slow and enjoy the stretching sensations as you insert each subsequent bead in your bum. Take them out slowly; you can draw these out one by one and enjoy the stretching of the anus, or you can pull and push them for extra sensations. For maximum effect, draw them out during an orgasm. ===COLLECTION=== We hope that our guide on how to choose anal beads is helpful, as we tried to cover all the bases. External Prostate Massage: Stimulate the P-Spot without Penetration

by Kate Miller on Nov 06 2025
You’ve probably heard about prostate stimulation by now – some consider it the male version of a woman’s G-spot, and when stimulated, it can lead to incredible pleasure. The prostate, or P-spot as some call it, is a small muscular gland that produces the seminal fluid found in ejaculation. In short, it helps propel semen from the penis, but that’s not all it does. The prostate is surrounded by nerve endings that can feel so good when touched the right way. Unfortunately, prostates are exclusive to those born with male genitalia. So, whether you’re thinking of giving one of these mind-blowing orgasms to yourself or to someone else, read on! Some people are not comfortable with inserting things into their anus, whether it be for religious reasons, gay stereotypes or mere discomfort, and there is absolutely no problem with that. Luckily, there’s still another way to get a prostate massage without putting anything inside you, and it’s called an external prostate massage! Are you intrigued? If this sounds like something you or your partner would enjoy, we’re here to break down all the nitty gritty details of everything you need to know about external prostate massages. Can you Reach Orgasm from External Prostate Massage? The short answer: yes! It may take some practice and trial-and-error, but once you’ve had one prostate orgasm, it can open up a whole new world of sexual pleasure. Finding the Right Spot An important reminder before you start is that a prostate massage is not a ‘quickie’. For your first massage especially, you should schedule a good amount of time – at least an hour – so that you are not rushing to find the right spot. Patience is key when it comes to the P-spot! The prostate itself is located about two inches inside the rectum, between the rectum and the penis. However, with an external prostate massage, you’re going to be massaging the perineum, which is the area of skin between a man’s scrotum and his anus. Arousal swells up the prostate, so the more turned on he is before you start poking around, the easier it will be to feel. The perineum is firmer near the front of the penile bulb, which is the inner ending of the shaft. It feels softer and fleshier towards the back – this is the golden spot, the one you should be aiming for. The key to a great external prostate massage is finding the perineum, since if you don’t, it essentially does nothing for the receiver. So, if you’re struggling, be patient and just try and poke around from different angles. If you have an erection, you can try placing your fingers on one side of the shaft, under the scrotum. You may feel a lump inside which you might think is the internal shaft of your penis, but think again! When you rub it, it’ll feel different from the usual penis stimulation. Even if you do not feel the gland yourself, touching it will likely cause the sensation of needing to pee. This is a sign you’re in the right spot – trust us! In case you’re worried that you may actually urinate, remember that the prostate is responsible for the flow of urine and ejaculation in the body, and so both cannot happen simultaneously. So, even if you feel the sense of needing to urinate, keep going with the massage. What Does It Feel Like Prostate orgasms feel like regular orgasms, except they’re more intense and are felt through the entire body. Some have reported having ‘super orgasms’, where they had a series of fast, continuous orgasms that cause the body to shudder. While internal prostate massages are usually a bit more intense than external ones, the latter can still feel fantastic. Not everyone ejaculates during a prostate orgasm, but it’s not uncommon for a dribble of milky fluid from the urethra. What is ‘Milking’? As you rub the perineum, it’s not uncommon for some leakage to happen, which is completely normal. This would be whitish in color, and runny – the best way to put it would be something like ‘thin ejaculation’. The more you rub the P-spot, the more your prostate ejaculates this fluid which gives the urinating sensation, but is, in reality, good for your health! These liquids, if not released by your prostate, can lead to bacteria growth or prostate illnesses, which is why many doctors say that prostate massages are good for keeping a healthy prostate. So, if you want to be prepared, have some towels or tissues handy for easier clean-up. How to Give the Best Prostate Massage Once you’ve decided on giving or receiving an external prostate massage, you can do so with or without the use of a prostate toy. For the sake of this blog post, we’re going to do so with only the use of our hands, since you don’t require a fancy toy to experience the most earth-shattering P-spot orgasm. Here is a step by step process to give the best prostate massage: Step #1: Create a soothing environment One of the most important parts of the massage, especially if it’s your first time, is to be in a comfortable, relaxing environment. If you’re nervous, your muscles will tense up and it’ll be more difficult to get aroused, and therefore in turn be more difficult to experience an effective massage. Step #2: Apply some form of lubricant Water-based lubricants are always a good idea, but since nothing is going inside you, you can also use Vaseline or a body cream and massage it onto the area, to avoid any rubbing and to help your hands to glide easier. Step #3: Assume a comfortable position Trying different positions can be fun once you get more comfortable with an external prostate massage! These can work whether you’re doing it to yourself or with a partner, and can also work for internal prostate massages. Legs up To do this by yourself: Lie on your back. Pull your knees up towards your chest as close as you can comfortably. Use one arm to hold your legs in place. Use your other hand to reach your perineum. To do this with a partner: Lie on your back. Pull your knees up towards your chest, holding them in place with both hands. Have them kneel in front of you and massage your prostate externally. On your side, one leg to chest To do this by yourself: Lie on your side. Bring your outer leg up towards your chest. Reach your hand around to your perineum. To do this with a partner: Lie on your side. Bring your outer leg towards your chest. Have them sit behind you to reach your perineum. Doggy To do this by yourself: Get down on all fours. Reach your arm between your legs or around your back to reach your perineum. To do this with a partner: Get down on all fours. Have them kneel behind you to reach your perineum. Step #4: Grip the testicles To avoid having your testicles get in the way during the massage, you can grip them to keep them in one place. Step #5: Find the spot and apply gentle pressure Apply gentle pressure onto your perineum, and use slow movements. You can experiment with patterns – some like circular motions, while others like gentle stroking, or something with a little more pressure and tension. Keep repeating this process for 2-3 sessions, or until orgasm. You don’t need to get creative here! All you need to do is continue to rub, but keep in mind to not get too rough. Since the prostate is a sensitive gland, you can cause some serious damage if you are not careful. If the receiver complains about it feeling irritating or painful, you should stop right away and allow the area to recover. Tips for the Receivers Use the bathroom before getting started, because even though you won’t pee, you will feel the sensation of needing to. Worrying about potentially peeing yourself might prevent you from relaxing and enjoying yourself, so it’s important to rid yourself of that stress as much as you can. You can prepare for an external prostate massage by getting used to the feeling of your prostate being touched. You can practice with your fingers, or if you want to touch it internally, you can use an anal sex toy, like butt plugs or anal beads. You can also find our reviews of the top 10 prostate massagers here. ===COLLECTION=== Get in the mood so that you’re turned on – which will help the giver find the prostate easier – and makes the recipient more relaxed. Light some candles, watch some porn, masturbate or get a lap dance – whatever foreplay you need to get there. Finally, make sure you’ve got lube on hand and use it. A water-based lubricant makes for easier gliding. If you want to make things easier for your partner who is giving the external prostate massage, work on finding the perineum on your own! In the shower, try picking up your penis and using your index and middle finger to apply pressure, lifting slightly until you hit your perineum. Continue to apply pressure as you get closer to your anus. Keep in mind that squatting may help you reach your spot easier! You can push your pelvic and rectum muscles in and out as you apply pressure to better position your prostate to the inner walls of your perineum. With time, you should feel light contractions of your testicles, which means you’ve found the right spot. How Can I Take it to the Next Level? If you want to take your external prostate massage to the next level, there are plenty of things you can do. Instead of only using your fingers to perform the massage, you can take your fingers, curl them up, and use your knuckles to press inward at an upward angle, like you’re trying to reach between the rectum and bladder from the outside, and continue your massage. Meanwhile, you can stroke the penis, fondle the balls, or run a lubricated finger around the outside of the butt hole. You can also experiment with different rhythms and patterns with your hands, or even bring in a vibrating toy to do the massaging for you. For broader stimulations that will stimulate your balls and booty hole at the same time as your perineum, a wand vibrator can work wonders. If it’s your first time experiencing an external prostate massage, you may also need some hand job action to push you over the edge, so don’t be afraid to try different things – every person is different, and our bodies need different types of stimulation to get there. Different strokes for different folks! ===COLLECTION=== The best part of P-spot play is that once you get to an orgasm…you can start all over again. It’s different from a penile orgasm in that way. Are There Health Benefits? Prostate stimulation has some proven health benefits. For example, it may help improve urine flow! Prostate swelling in general can sometimes put pressure on the urethra and interfere with urine flow – massaging the prostate helps to relieve some of the pressure and allow smoother urine flow, and even reduce frequent urination. Fluid blockages in the reproductive system can be painful, especially during ejaculation. A P-spot massage can sometimes help to eliminate these blockages, as well as to help with prostatitis, which is a painful inflammation of the prostate. Final Words Prostate stimulation and massages are losing their negative stigma surrounding them, and if you can become comfortable with the idea of this, you’re in for a world of surprise pleasure. An external prostate massage is the perfect substitute or introduction to anal play – so if you’re willing to explore your lesser-known erogenous zones, a variety of sensation may be your reward. Whether you’re using the external prostate massage as foreplay, an introduction to anal play or the main course, as long as you’re safe, clean and consensual, you’re golden – so give it a shot!

Wearing Butt Plugs - Myths and Facts

by Kate Miller on Oct 17 2025
Butt plugs – the toys we know and love, whether from our own personal use, or from watching our favorite adult films. They can be worn anywhere and everywhere, from the house, to your workplace, shopping malls, grocery stores, the car…the combination of private and public possibilities are endless. Designed to be inserted into the anus and left in place, these lovely little butt plugs create a sensation of fullness that can be pleasant even outside of the bedroom. In short, they can add a dimension of fun and naughtiness to your daily routine. How Long Can You Wear a Butt Plug? According to most manufacturers and medical professionals, the standard time that you should wear a butt plug is usually not more than 2-3 hours, even when you feel completely comfortable. This is because your rectum walls are so close to your sphincter, which can cause reduced blood flow when there is pressure inserted for long amounts of time. If this happens, there is a risk of damage to the rectum and a likeliness to get ulcers. Since there are no pain receptors inside the rectum, you may not even realize that anything is wrong until after the damage is done. Of course, there are always people arguing the other side. Many sexuality educators will say that you can wear a plug for 10-12 hours without harm, as long as you’re paying attention to your body’s signals, and that you’ve worked your way up from wearing the plug for just a few minutes. We highly suggest the conservative approach, since it’s better to be safe rather than to be sorry. The worst thing to do would be to dampen your pleasurable anal play experience by pushing your body beyond its limits, so we strongly recommend limiting the time you spend plugged in to 2-3 hours. ===COLLECTION=== Myth or Fact There are plenty of facts and myths circulating about butt plugs, and plenty of opinions differ between manufacturers, medical professionals and sex enthusiasts. Therefore, we have done our best to address many of these, and clearing the air on some misinformation that may be traveling around. MYTH: You shouldn’t wear butt plugs in public Butt plugs are often encouraged to be worn in public places! While many people argue that wearing a butt plug while out and about may cause it to fall out, or that it’ll be too obvious, both aren’t necessarily true. If you choose a properly sized butt plug for you, or use a harness or tight underwear to keep it in place, you shouldn’t have any problems with it falling out. With regards to the butt plug showing, this also depends on which butt plug you choose to wear. If you wear one with a tail – sure, you’re likely to get caught! But if you wear one with a t-shaped handle that cradles your butt cheeks, you’re probably in the clear. ===COLLECTION=== FACT: It can get stuck or lost inside you While this is possible, this is highly unlikely to happen for a few reasons. The biggest reason being due to butt plugs usually coming with a flared base, specifically to help keep the butt plug anchored firmly outside of your body. This helps you avoid some accidental too-deep slippage, and a shameful trip to the hospital. MYTH: Lube is optional This could not be falser! Your anal opening does not self-lubricate, which means that it’s a must to use lubricant when inserting a butt plug. Silicone-based lubes are great to use since they last a lot longer than water-based lubes, and don’t wash off in the shower, if you plan to have some fun in there. However, if you’re using a silicone butt plug, you absolutely cannot pair it with a silicone lube, since it eventually breaks down the toy. If you’re using a silicone butt plug, opt for a water or oil-based lube instead. The proper way to apply lube is to first coat the butt plug, then apply some to the anal opening. As you’re gently pressing the plug to your anus, make sure to take a deep breath and consciously relax your muscles. After you’ve done this, apply more lube to the plug, and re-insert it with slightly more pressure than the first time. Repeat this until you can insert the plug fully – some people need to do these actions 3 to 5 times before getting it in comfortably, and that’s completely normal. ===COLLECTION=== MYTH: They’re only for women Absolutely not! Butt plugs are for everyone, whether you’re born with female or male genitalia. The only difference between men and women when it comes to anal play is the location of their ‘spots’. Men have prostates, or a P-spot, located about 2 inches into the anus, and there are butt plugs specifically designed for P-spot stimulation. Conversely, women have an A-spot, located 5 or 6 inches into the anus, which is typically not reached by an average butt plug. Either way, there are enough nerve endings in and around the anus to make a regular butt plug incredibly pleasurable for both men and women. FACT: It’s a stepping stone to anal sex While butt plugs can surely be used as foreplay or training for anal sex, that’s not its only purpose. Butt plugs also have a secondary effect of narrowing the vaginal canal, meaning that vaginal sex may feel even more enjoyable for both partners, due to increased sensitivity and tension. As discussed previously, you can also wear one as you go about your average day. Of course, it’s also a great warm up before anal sex, since it allows the sphincters to open up more than usual and stretch through to the anal canal. This, in turn, causes your anal muscles to relax, making it much easier to get something else inside, such as a penis. MYTH: It’s okay to feel a little bit of pain While it’s very possible to feel pain when inserting or wearing a butt plug, you should know that this is a warning sign that you may be overstretching. Unlike the vagina, the anus can take weeks of training before being able to graduate from a finger or two to a toy. Since the anus is made of sensitive tissue that is easy to tear, you must be very careful when choosing adult sex toys, and ensuring you lubricate extensively. If you experience pain, it’s probably a sign that you either need to size down with your butt plug, or that you need more lube. Either way, it’s a warning sign to stop whatever it is you’re doing and re-evaluate. MYTH: A butt plug will stretch you out A huge misconception about butt plugs and anal penetration in general is that it will stretch out your anus. While training, stretching and sizing up will allow you to insert larger objects into your anus over time, this isn’t because your anus is getting larger. It’s in fact because your body is getting used to getting filled there, so your muscles are more willing to relax and allow for wider and deeper penetration. So, don’t start worrying you’ll have a large gaping hole where you butt used to be – this simply isn’t true. Another concern that people have is that by wearing a butt plug for a long time, it will lead to a gaping butthole. While you may end up with a slight gape if you’ve been wearing the plug for an extended amount of time, it will hardly be noticeable. Gaping takes a lot of time, training and technique, and isn’t likely to happen accidentally. Anal gaping also shouldn’t last longer than a few hours after removing the object used to penetrate. ===COLLECTION=== MYTH: The pressure will cause you to poop For beginners, the sensation of using a butt plug may resemble the feeling of having to go number two. The reason for this is that it’s stimulating the same nerve endings that you use to go to the bathroom. Don’t worry about having any unwelcome surprises – it’s just the pressure causing you to feel that way. However, many people find that wearing a butt plug has helped them with constipation issues by triggering a need to go number two. Even those with healthy bowel movements can benefit from butt plugs, as it gets you going to the bathroom more often, so it’s not necessarily a bad thing. On the topic, you need to make sure to wash your butt plug with warm water and soap immediately after removing it. It’s very possible that your plug will have residue fecal matter, even if you can’t see it, and this can spread unwanted bacteria. To avoid the risk of any infections, avoid contact between the plug and your vagina. Can You Wear a Butt Plug While Sleeping? Many people wonder if they can wear their butt plugs while sleeping. While there are people that do this, it is highly advised against. As mentioned before, you shouldn’t wear your butt plug for longer than 3 hours at a time. Despite having no pain receptors to indicate any danger, you’re also asleep for likely 7-8 hours, meaning that you’re at your most vulnerable for quite some time, and some serious damage could happen overnight. An added danger is that you cannot keep applying lube overnight, putting you at risk of the lube drying out, which will in turn cause you a lot of pain when you wake up the next morning and try and take the butt plug out. In short, avoid butt plugs while sleeping at all costs. Can You Wear a Butt Plug While Pregnant? When you’re pregnant, you’re either ready to throw it down all the time, or it’s the last thing on your mind. Either way, 9 months is a long time, and you’re sure to find yourself craving a little naughtiness at some point. Since there may come a point in your pregnancy where traditional sex is uncomfortable, butt plugs are a great way to get aroused, no matter what changes your body is going through. As long as you have a low-risk pregnancy and no health-related problems, it should be safe for you to use a butt plug at any stage of your pregnancy. Most women who have tried it have reported a positive experience and no severe side effects of using a butt plug while pregnant. In fact, pregnant women with constipation issues have reported that wearing a butt plug helped to act as a trigger to stimulate bowel movements. If you have prior health risks including a history of hemorrhoids, severe constipation or bleeding, you should consult a medical professional before using a butt plug during the course of your pregnancy. Other times that it may be not advisable to use a butt plug when pregnant are if you are experiencing a very uncomfortable pregnancy, or are approaching full-term and haven’t used butt plugs before, since it may increase the discomfort and pressure you’re already feeling. On the contrary, if you’re a woman who was wearing butt plugs pre-pregnancy and have continued to use them with no issues, you’re most likely in the clear. If you’re not very experienced with butt plugs but are having a relatively easy pregnancy, slowly ease into it by using a very small size and gauging your comfort levels. If you feel good, you should have no issues continuing along with it. When speaking about anal play and pregnancy, we must discuss the ‘Placenta Previa’. This is a condition which represents when the placenta is low in the womb, and doesn’t entirely cover the cervix. Because of the placenta’s location, any type of deep or wide anal activity can be extremely dangerous for the pregnant woman. If the placenta is damaged, it will cause heavy bleeding and put the pregnant woman at risk. You should check with your doctor to see if you have ‘Placenta Previa’, as women who have it are advised against engaging in any anal play. If you’re pregnant and thinking of using a butt plug, remember that the need to be as hygienic as possible is only heightened when you’re pregnant. It’s incredibly important to wash your butt plugs with warm water and soap both before and after every use. Any bacteria from your butt plug can have harmful effects to the fetus if allowed to spread. If you want to be as thorough as can be, consider using a condom as a shield when wearing your butt plug. It goes without saying that if you feel any pain, you should stop. Also, if your doctor suggests that you shouldn’t engage in any type of anal play during your pregnancy, you should always follow their advice. Only your doctor is fully aware of your health and medical issues, and can provide the best advice for you. If you’re unsure, ask them outright if it’s safe for you to wear a butt plug during your pregnancy – don’t be embarrassed, they’ve seen it all! Can You Wear a Butt Plug While You Use the Bathroom? Many people wonder what the rules governing butt plugs and bathroom breaks are. While it’s fairly obvious that you cannot go number two with a butt plug inserted, the debates arise when it comes to going for a piss. Generally, it’s advised that you remove your butt plug when you’re going to pee. The reason for this mostly has to do with simplifying the peeing process for you. When you try to pee with your butt plug inserted, your body is doing two things: trying to hold the butt plug in, while trying to let the pee out. This causes your pelvic floor muscles to engage to try and grasp onto the plug, while your muscles in turn struggle to relax and release the pee. While it’s possible to do both at the same time, it’s difficult, and probably a lot more trouble than it’s worth. What’s more likely to occur is that you relax too much and the plug will fall right into the toilet, which is unpleasant as it is, but can also lead to breaking or damage if the plug is made of glass or metal instead of silicone. If you pee often or simply don’t want to have to remove your butt plug, you always have the option to hold onto it as you pee to ensure it stays secured in place. Keep in mind that you should be careful though to not push or strain as you go to release your pee, as it can cause damage to your pelvic floor muscles and lead to problems like UTIs or incontinence. Can You Wear a Butt Plug All Day? If you’ve ever lived in a busy, crowded city, chances are you’ve walked past someone cheerily prancing by you, wearing a butt plug while going about their day. The short answer is that yes, you can wear a butt plug all day, but it’s heavily advised against. If you

Anal Masturbation Tips and Techniques for Men and Women

by Kate Miller on Sep 30 2025
Most of us know how to masturbate the old-fashioned way. Some of us have even taken our sexuality a step further and experimented with anal play with a partner. The act of merging the two together…let’s just say, giving yourself a booty orgasm might just be the life-changing kink you’ve been looking for. Anal Masturbation 101: How to Get Started If you’re new to anal masturbation, don’t worry about it – we’re going to walk you through it from beginning to end, offering tons of great tips and techniques throughout. If you’re completely new to anal play, the perfect place to start is the shower. Start by cleaning your booty, then bending over and allowing the water from the shower to stimulate your anus. Breathe deeply and connect with your anus – this helps you to get more comfortable with the feeling of light pressure in that area. Next up would be some good old-fashioned regular masturbation. Set yourself up in a calm and Zen environment and pleasure yourself how you typically would. Giving yourself a regular orgasm before tackling the back door is a good way to get relaxed and in the mood. Once you’re feeling prepped, tap into some anal foreplay before attempting any penetration. Start by stoking, massaging and even lightly spanking your butt cheeks, and then slowly move closer to the anal opening, where most of the nerve endings are. While you’re engaging in some solo foreplay, don’t be afraid to move around and try different positions. If you’re a beginner, it might take some time to adjust and maneuver your arm comfortably to back door territory. Experiment with different positions, add some pillows under your pelvis if needed, or even stand. Find what works for you! Another important factor that often gets overlooked is practicing conscious breathing and relaxation. Any tensing may cause pain or discomfort instead of pleasure, which is why being in the right environment and headspace is crucial. Before you attempt any sort of penetration the most important tool you’ll need is lubricant. Since the anus does not self-lubricate, you’re going to have to rely on other methods to keep it as wet as possible always. A body-safe and phthalate-free water-based lube is recommended because of the easy clean-up and nourishing effect, as well as it being compatible with silicone toys and condoms, if you decide to use any. However, keep in mind that water-based lubricants can dry quickly, so be sure to keep reapplying as needed. Silicone lubricants are great for sensitive skin, but can’t be used with other silicone products, so if this is what you want to use, stick to fingers only! Oil-based lubes are very long-lasting, so they’re a great option for those who don’t want to have to worry about reapplying a ton of lube. But it’s important to note that oil-based lubes are prone to breaking condoms, so keep that in mind if you’re adding that layer of protection to minimize the spread of bacteria. The easiest way to begin penetration is to start with your own fingers. Apply plenty of lube on your opening and fingers, and rub one finger on the rim of your butthole. As you get more aroused, keep applying more pressure and depth to your penetration. Just make sure your fingernails are cut short to avoid any cuts or injury! Why Try Solo First Anal masturbation isn’t just about getting off – it’s about connecting with an erogenous zone that may have been culturally stigmatized as taboo. Some are uncomfortable with the idea of anal because it has been conditioned in them from a young age that it is dirty, immoral, or just plain wicked. If you feel you might need to work through a battle against these beliefs yet still want to experiment with anal, then trying it alone first will be better. Sex shouldn’t feel shameful, and facing it alone can help you calm your nerves and ensure that you enjoy the act, before sharing the experience with someone else. Another reason for wanting to try solo first is to know how to please yourself first! There’s nothing hotter in the bedroom than someone who knows what they like, and can communicate that to their partner. At the end of the day, no one knows your body like you do. You can test your limits and find out what you like, don’t like, and how far you’re willing to go! Male Anal Masturbation As we get into male anal masturbation, the golden spot that may come to mind for many is the P-spot, also called the prostate. You can stimulate the P-spot through the perineum, which is the patch of skin between the balls and the anus, or by penetrating about 2 inches into the anus. If you hit the P-spot, you’re going to feel intense, body-shuddering waves of pleasure. There’s no rule on needing to only focus on the anus – double your hot masturbation session with a simultaneous hand job! Grasp your penis and stroke it up and down along the shaft, picking up the pace as you approach climax. Female Anal Masturbation For women, a killer orgasm can come from stimulating the A-spot, also known as the anterior fornix. Located about 5 or 6 inches into the vagina, you can indirectly penetrate it through anal sex. The A-spot is an area filled with erotically charged nerve endings which can quickly make you extremely wet and aroused. The feeling of A-spot stimulation is pleasurable enough, but an A-spot orgasm is mind-blowing. They’re way more intense and last longer than regular orgasms. The wonderful part about being a female is that you can have as many orgasms as you want, and you have plenty of erogenous zones to play with. Whether you’re giving or receiving –or both! – you can use your hand, fingers or a toy to rub along the clit and hood for added pleasure. The woman’s body has plenty of erogenous zones, so as your stimulating your anus with one hand, feel free to use the other hand with or without toys to explore the rest of your body. Pause on sensitive areas like your neck, breasts, scrotum, or even back of the knees and inner arms. Broaden your horizon by adding in some DP action – penetrate your vagina while having some anal fun. Whether your partner wants to use his penis or you choose to use a toy, it’s sure to double the pleasure. See if you can hit the G-spot while you’re at it! Anal Masturbation with a Partner There isn’t a long list of activities more erotic than mutual masturbation with a partner. If you’re a beginner, you should still follow the tips mentioned above on how to get started with anal masturbation. If you’re already comfortable with anal play, just remember to start off relaxed and aroused. If you’re the receiving partner, indulge in some erotic foreplay beforehand. Take a hot bath, light some scented candles, or watch some porn – anything that will get you relaxed and ready. If you’re more experienced, you can have a butt plug inserted long before your sensual play session for an even bigger build-up of arousal. Lastly, make sure you’ve got plenty of lube on hand! If you’re the giving partner, help get your partner in the mood by giving them the best foreplay session of their lives. Touch, lick and kiss the areas in and around their anus. After foreplay, if you’ve applied enough lube, you’re good to use your hands or beloved toys and get penetrating! ===COLLECTION=== Positions Despite there being multiple ways to masturbate anally, there are also tons of different positions to try! The best way to find out which position is best for you is by trial and error. Experiment slowly with yourself or with a partner until eventually finding the one which you feel most comfortable with. Facedown To do this one by yourself, start by lying face down on your stomach, and reach your arm behind you, resting it on your back. Reach your finger or toy towards your perineum or anus, and tease and insert at your ease. To do this with a partner, lie face down with your arms at your sides, and your legs slightly spread apart. Meanwhile, your partner can sit on whichever side is most comfortable for them, while gently massaging your anus. On your side To try out this position, lie on your side and bring your outer leg up towards your chest, and reach around to explore and stimulate your anus. You can also do this position with a partner, by having them sit behind you and reaching over to your anus. Doggy Get on all fours, and reach your arm between your legs or around your back to reach your anal opening. Massage and penetrate it at your pace. If you’re doing this with a partner, all they need to do is kneel behind you to reach your anus. Cow Cow is a fun and different one to try out, but is better suited for more experienced players. To do it alone, start by stabilizing your dildo, vibrator or other toy of choice on the seat of a chair, or any stable surface. Next, straddle your chair or gently kneel, hovering your butt just above the toy. Lower down slowly, gradually inserting the toy until you reach a depth that feels the best for you. To do this with a partner, lie on your back and have them straddle you, preferably while wearing a strap-on if they aren’t penetrating you with their penis. Have them put their knees on either side of your hips, and your hands on the bed or floor, and lower their butt, using their hips to slide inside you slowly, controlling the depth. 69 This position can only be used with a partner, but the best part is that it gives both partners the opportunity for anal stimulation at the same time! One partner will lie flat on their back and the other partner will kneel over their partner while facing the opposite direction. To practice anal stimulation in this position, you just have to reach your arms over and spread your partner’s butt cheeks, and then reach their anus. Techniques One of the best parts of anal play is playing with different techniques and discovering your new favorites! Whether you use one of these or a combination, you’re in for a wild ride. If you’re practicing with a partner, tongue play can be an excellent stimulator of the nerve endings in and around the anus. You most likely won’t be able to stimulate the P-spot or A-spot directly, but it’ll still create an extremely erotic sensation. If you’re the giving partner, use the tip of your tongue to tease along the cheeks before slowly working your way between them. Swirl your tongue around the anal opening first, then push the tip into the opening, darting in and out, mirroring a thrust. Finger stimulation can work whether you’re with a partner or alone. The fun with using your fingers for anal stimulation is the variety in movements and motions. Here are some of our favorites. Come hither: This is a classic move for a reason. When you slowly insert your lubed finger into the anus and curl your finger upward, you’re almost guaranteeing your partner a whirlwind of pleasure. As you go, gradually increase the depth and speed, and add some fingers if your partner is feeling comfortable and stretched. Once you’ve found the right pace and motion, just keep going as the pressure builds. Circling: When you feel that you’ve reached either the A-spot or P-spot, rub your finger in a circular motion, picking up the pace as your partner requests it. Play around with pressure and speed to find the perfect combination. Doorbell: From either the inside or the outside, find the tender sweet spot that makes them moan with pleasure and press your finger against it, as if ringing a doorbell. Start this act by applying light pressure, then gradually increase pressure and speed. Stimulated vibration: When you or your partner are close, you can stimulate vibrations by moving your speed up. Finally, you can use a sex toy, or if you’re playing with a partner, then a penis or strap-on. No matter which you choose, you can play around with pressure – applying or removing pressure will help you find your sweet spot. You can also play around with depth. Everyone’s pleasure points are different, so take it slow and gentle. Vibrations are also great when you’re close and want to push yourself over the edge! There are plenty of vibrating massagers with different vibration and pulse settings, so try out different combinations and see what does the trick. Of course, we’ve saved the best for last. Double penetration is absolutely on the table! While you can surely do this with a partner and a toy at the same time, there are also toys that have dual function, allowing you double penetration. Whether you have an external vibe that stimulates the perineum or clitoris during penetration, or a dual penetrating dildo or vibrator to penetrate the anus and vagina –if you have one– at the same time, you’re in for the climax of a lifetime! Hygiene There are a few precautions that you should be taking with regards to cleanliness. Firstly, whether you’re the giving partner or engaging in solo masturbation, you should make sure to have your fingernails properly groomed – trim and file your nails to prevent tearing the delicate skin of the anus, and to prevent the bacteria under your nails from entering your partner’s anus. You should always make sure to wash your hands thoroughly before any activity. If you want to take it a step further, you can put on a pair of latex or nitrile gloves to prevent any fluid transmission. During play, be very careful not to move your hands or toys from the anus to the vagina, or anywhere around it – this could cause some serious infections. The clean-up afterwards is equally important. Even if you don’t see it, fecal matter and bacteria from the anus can spread after touching the inside or outside of your anus. If you used gloves, throw them away immediately, and wash your hands and genital areas thoroughly. Additionally, use a wet cloth on any parts of your body that you touched before and after your anal play to cleanse the area. Remember to also wash off the toys and disinfect them properly, as well as the lube bottle that you used. You want to avoid ruining your memorable play session by minimizing the potential spread of any bacteria. Make sure to store them in a cool, dry area afterwards to prevent mold or bacteria growth. Best Sex Toys for Anal Masturbation While you may feel ‘caught up in the moment’ while in the shower and inclined to use basic household items for your anal masturbation session, this is extremely advised against. It’s important to only use toys that are sold for the purpose of anal insertion when attempting this form of masturbation. So, if you’re looking for a way to kick your anal masturbation session up a notch after getting comfortable with your fingers, toys are a great way to do that! Before getting started, it’s advised to figure out how much your anus can currently handle by measuring the width of the number of fingers that you can currently insert comfortably, or the width of the latest toy you’ve used anally. This will help you choose the right toy and size for you. Without further ado, let’s go through some fun and sexy toys that are great for anal masturbation, whether you’re doing it solo or with a partner. Anal Beads Anal beads are a real treat, regardless of whether you have a P-spot or an A-spot. Generally, anal beads are a string of beads that are evenly spaced apart. You can insert the beads one by one –as many as you can handle– and then pull the string of them out for a mind-blowing, pleasurable experience. Usually the beads will be sphere-shaped, but there are tons of variation on the market, such as oval beads, star-shaped beads, and even heart-shaped beads. The beads will also sometimes come in differing sizes, for example increasing in size from one end to the other. This ends up working wonderfully as an anal training tool, or as a starter to masturbation, in preparation for bigger toys. While these are fun to use with a partner since they can surprise you with pacing, they feel equally good alone. But the pleasure doesn’t only come from inserting and removing the beads – once the beads are inside you, you can use your anal muscles to clench and unclench them, offering you some intense inner stimulation. ===COLLECTION=== Butt Plugs Butt plugs are great for beginners to anal play, as well as gentle players. Butt plugs are used by simply sliding them into the anus, and leaving them to ‘plug’ your butt, for as short or long as you like. The purpose is to stimulate the many nerve endings located in and around the anal opening. They’re equally perfect for using alone, or with a partner. The kicker is that these toys can usually be worn for long periods of time, and they shift slightly as you move around, stimulating different areas of your butt. You can throw one on during your work commute or as you’re watching a movie for some amazing stimulation…and no one has to know. Butt plugs come in many shapes and sizes, so do your research on the best butt plugs and find one that suits your desires and capabilities. The typical style is a tapered, cone-shaped head with a flared base, to ensure there’s no accidental too-deep slippage into the anus. There are some that come in sets of 3 or more different sizes, so that you can work your way up, or you can even buy one that expands, as your anus gets more accustomed to penetration. Silicone butt plugs are the most popular, especially among beginners, because of their soft and smooth coating, which makes them easier to insert. However, as you get more comfortable with them, you can try out plenty that come with a fun twist, such as: Jewel butt plugs, which is a stylish addition for peep show fun Glass butt plugs, which are smoother but harder than silicone, and good for temperature play Tail butt plugs, which is a regular butt plug with a tail attached to it, making it perfect for fans of BDSM or role play ===COLLECTION=== Anal Vibrators Anal vibrators are vibrating toys that are designed to be inserted into the male or female anus. Some have the option to vibrate at different speeds, some offer different patterns which can deliver various sensations to your anus. The best part is, they also come in different shapes and sizes, so you can see which toy you like the most from your regular collection or those we’ve mentioned above, and buy the vibrating edition! If you’re engaging in this activity with a partner, you can even get a two-ended vibrator, which will please you and your partner at the same time. ===COLLECTION=== Prostate Massagers Specially designed for male genitalia, prostate massagers are the ultimate male anal masturbation tool. This gadget allows you to reach that small gland, located about two inches inside your anus that can lead to some incredible orgasms when stimulated. A prostate massager is usually shaped with a handle on one end, and an angled dildoesque piece on the other, which is the side that gets inserted into the anus. When inserted, as you move it, it provides a ‘come hither’ motion that’ll make you orgasm in mere minutes. There are also many prostate massagers that come with cock rings attached to them, for double the fun. Can it get any better than this? ===COLLECTION=== Dildos We can’t discuss sex toys without talking about dildos, can we? The first thing to note is that dildos are more for advanced players, as they’re usually larger than most of the other toys, like butt plugs. While you can surely use a regular dildo for penetration, there are tons of specially designed anal dildos to choose from. These anal dildos are better designed for anal penetration, and generally come with a flared base or hand grip to prevent too-deep slippage. They can be angled for prostate stimulation in males, or lifelike penis molding to please the masses. Beginner anal dildos will generally be slimmer and have less girth, but there are plenty of bigger options as you work your way into becoming a more experienced player. Just keep in mind that an anus isn’t like a vagina – it requires plenty of time and practice before it can take on larger toys safely, with no tearing. If you’re a beginner to anal dildos, try and find one that is tapered, as it’ll help you to only insert it to a point in which you can comfortably handle. There is a large array of different anal sex toys to choose from, and the options are increasing day by day. So, if you find yourself enjoying this new twist on classic masturbating, stay informed on new toys coming out specifically for anal play. ===COLLECTION=== Final Words The best part of anal masturbation is that it isn’t simply about the destination, but the journey. Even if you don’t get an anal orgasm right away, it’s very likely you’ll have some type of orgasm along the way. Make sure you’re relaxed, aroused, and enjoy all the pleasures the butt has to offer!

Everything You Need to Know About Anal Vibrators

by Kate Miller on Sep 19 2025
Anal vibrators are designed for enjoyable and intense stimulation of the anal cavity or anus. They are used by both men and women for sexual play. All anal vibrators have the same go-to feature, and that is that they promote and sustain a vibrating effect in the rectum for the sheer pleasure of the user. Anal vibrators are unique because they have a flared base to prevent them from getting stuck inside the rectum. The anal vibrator is much smaller in size and will be from four to six inches in length, and about an inch in width, in most cases. In fact, anal vibrators are usually operated via battery operation. This will be via a rechargeable battery for wall to plug use, or utilizing disposable batteries which can be replaced when they have used their charge. All types of vibrating anal toys may or may not have various featured effects. But some of them will have actions that include: rotation, vibration or pulsation, and most will allow for different speed or vibration levels which can be adjusted so that the user can enjoy various sensations during play. Types of Anal Vibrators Vibrating Anal Probes: These are smaller and are around the size of a human finger, and this makes them a wonderful sex toy for beginners. Anal probe vibrators are also slimmer because their primary function is to slide and vibrate as they give pleasure. Vibrating Butt Plugs: Well designed to stay inside the anus to create a feeling of fullness and maintain the vibrating stimulation in conjunction with that full feeling. They may be placed and left for anal stimulation during masturbation, or during sexual play and/or intercourse. Vibrating Anal Beads & Balls: Containing a number of small beads or balls which link together via a retrievable cord which connects to a powered control. They usually are able to vibrate at different speeds depending on the model you buy. ===COLLECTION=== How to Choose the Right Anal Vibrators for You It’s highly recommended that you choose a smaller product to begin with, and this is generally because you can always work your way up to larger ones as your body becomes accustomed to anal play. Anal plugs can be utilized during sexual intercourse and solo play and offer an enjoyable feeling of fullness that many people find very pleasurable and satisfying. The most popular anal sex toys are usually butt plugs, anal beads and vibrators, maintaining the feature of the flared base to incorporate safety and a feeling of total control for the user. What Are the Benefits For men, the stimulation of the prostate can offer an array of health and sensual benefits that go hand in hand. The prostate, likened to the male equivalent of a woman’s G-spot, is a medium, pebble-sized, semen storage gland. It lives at the base of the penis and is located just below the bladder. It can be aroused externally through pressure against the perineum and/or internally via the rectum. Anal stimulation seems to garner better results within the sexual arena though, especially when compared to pressure on the perineum. Factually speaking, semen can build up in the prostate, creating the potential for bacterial growth and no movement in that area. This can cause swelling and inflammation or a condition known as prostatitis. Overall, the take home message is that an enlarged prostate can allow for unwanted urinary and erectile problems, which are stressful and uncomfortable for the male. These conditions may disrupt sleep and sexual function within males. So, additionally, utilizing prostate massage can help to relax tension and stress in the muscles and nerve endings within the prostate area, and prevent the symptoms mentioned earlier. Masturbation for Both Sexes The big plus for men and women alike, is that masturbation is a beneficial practice. We already touched on how it can reduce the risk of prostatitis and thus help to prevent the potential risk of developing prostate cancer in men. Many studies have proven that men aged 20-50 years who masturbated more than 5 times each week were 33% less likely to develop prostate cancer. In essence, carcinogens are flushed out from the prostate gland during ejaculation, which in turn helps in reducing the buildup of seminal fluid. For men and women, masturbation reduces stress and tension. When we engage in sexual pleasure, we produce dopamine. This is a wonderful hormone that makes us feel great and endorphins are released which gives us a sense of overall wellbeing. The blood pressure is also relieved by the lowering of it, after masturbation. Masturbation is self-maintained and therefore means that it’s a stress-free act. There is no performance needed toward another, making it the easiest thing we can achieve on our own, once we feel at ease to do so. Additionally, there is no risk of contracting sexual diseases or infections when masturbating, due to the lack of physical contact with another. Masturbation can be a big help when one partner requires more sexual activity than the other person. It can also help couples to find extra ways of satisfying their partners sexually. Additionally, if it feels good when you do it, then you can tell your partner too. Masturbation also aids in self awareness and sexual satisfaction. People who masturbate are more likely to have better sexual health. This is because they are aware of how their body feels and so they will generally notice when something is not right, like if they feel stressed, for example. Using an anal vibrator during masturbation can help to get to the end game of orgasm, and this helps to encourage great health and self exploration, sexually speaking. This is true for solo or partnered play. Safety Considerations Perhaps the most common safety consideration is about risk, or losing your vibrator inside of your rectum. It’s super important that you don’t use a vaginal vibrator inside your anus, because it definitely increases this risk. To avoid this, you should ensure that your vibrator always has a flared base. It can get lost otherwise, and this is not something you want to try. Use loads of lube. Don’t use silicone-based lube with a silicone sex toy. It can actually break down the surface of the toy and allow it to become porous, which in turn can allow for bacterial or viral health concerns. Remember, lubrication is the most pivotal aspect of all, especially for anal play. Without great lubrication, it might lead to irritation, chaffing, tearing, and even bleeding. So if you plan to insert something anally, make sure it is smothered with lube, and then it will slide in painlessly and with ease. ===COLLECTION=== Cleaning & Storage Tips In truth, the very best way to clean any sex toy is often to follow the directions on the packaging. These cleaning directions are made to effectively clean your toys and keep them in their best shape. Storage indications will also apply. A good bathing with soap and hot water is usually perfect for most sex toys. Lather up the toy with a major addition of antibacterial soap and let the foam sit there for a few moments to kill bacteria and other viral germs. Be sure to keep the battery section out of the water though. And never plug it in during cleaning if it’s a rechargeable toy. Use the hottest water you can to thoroughly rinse and clean the toy well, with a good rinse to avoid leaving any soapy residue behind. Plain warm-to-hot water may be the best option to clean some toys, without the need for antibacterial or disinfectant-type soaps. This is particularly the case for adult toys made from porous substances, including rubber or vinyl. In these cases, these materials will trap and hold soaps and other chemicals within their makeup. Whether you’re cleaning a toy with or without soap, depending upon the substance it’s made from, it should be allowed to air dry and can even be dusted with cornstarch to prevent stickiness. The Best Anal Vibrator Will Always Have These 3 Things 1. Ease of use. The anal vibrator will be easy to charge or have a section for batteries with visual to help place them. The product should also come with instructions and a cleaning regime for that specific product. 2. Features to enhance play and keep it safe. Speed settings, cleaning instructions, storage suggestions, and any safety precautions. A set of instructions explaining how the toy is used. A long battery life. A choice of colors and sizes for all to enjoy. 3. Be made of nonporous materials. For safety and to negate the spread of infection. Cleaning and storage instructions are also a big plus when making your purchase. Anal Vibrators Can Spice Up Your Sex Life Anal play is super exciting and can be even better when paired with an anal vibrator. Adding stimulus that shakes during your anal play experience can often lead to some very explosive and amazing orgasms. The types of anal vibrators that you choose will typically be determined by what type of play you like. Remember, start small, but try a few different types to see what feels good for you. Anal orgasms are achieved by stimulation of the anus. This type of penetration can indirectly stimulate the G-spot for females, and very directly stimulate the prostate for males. The use of anal vibrators can allow for fun play and the sexual gratification desired, whether going solo or with a partner. Try Anal Vibrators in Privacy of Your Home Discretion is the major key for relaxation purposes and privacy too. You may or may not like the sensation. Trying such a new sex toy in the privacy of your own home can be a fun and unique experience. Make sure you buy an anal vibrator with a flared base for safety, lubricate it very well, and enjoy the pleasure from your toy. Always allow your body to relax first, and once you try it, you’ll be able to pick out the best anal vibrator for you. It’ll be up to you on the size, color, features, and type that you choose to buy. You might want to own more than one, and keep your sexual play super adventurous. But remember, the most important thing to do is to have fun, both safely and effectively. Remember to never share your toys. STIs (sexually transmitted diseases) and infections can be shared that way. Stay safe, always. Your fun should never cause risk to yourself or another.

Thrilling Joy of Wearing Your Butt Plug in Public

by Kate Miller on Aug 20 2025
Ah, the thrill of having a dirty little secret all to ourselves. It’s no surprise that butt plugs feel amazing, thanks to all the nerve endings located in our anus. We wear them at home and in the bedroom, both for foreplay and as the main dish. But if you’ve ever worn one out in public, you know that half the fun comes from the taboo of rocking one when no one else knows that you are! Better yet, you can tease your partner by mentioning midday that you’ve had one in for the past hour…what a treat! In this blog post, we’re going to cover different places that you can wear your marvelous accessory, and add a little magic to your day. Anal Gaping: How to Safely Stretch for Anal Play

by Kate Miller on Aug 15 2025
You wouldn’t attempt to do the splits without practice, would you? You would probably need a lot of stretching and training before finally getting there. Turns out, it’s the same thing when it comes to stretching your anus! Anal gaping is an act that’s a few steps further than anal stretching – in fact, it’s probably the most extreme form of anal play. When your anus is gaped, your internal rectum muscles are exposed, and it can take hours for your anus to recover. What Is Anal Gaping? A gape is an opening in the anus caused by stretching for an extended period of time. This could be done through anal sex, but it’s usually done with larger toys. Inserting the penis or toy in the anus for longer gives your muscles the time they need to adjust so that upon removing the toy from your anus, you’ll find that your anus is gaping. But don’t worry – it’ll usually go back to normal after a little bit. Anal gaping is a unique form of play that might be appealing for some, while being completely off the table for others. A good way to dip your toes into the world of anal gaping would be to get comfortable with anal stretching first. Anal stretching is the build-up to gaping – it’s the act of gradually stretching your anus, allowing you to insert toys, or a penis, that you couldn’t insert before. If you’ve never inserted anything into your anus before, working up from one finger to multiple fingers is a beginner form of stretching. However, in the world of fetishism, anal gaping starts by stretching your anus above and beyond what is needed to insert an average penis for anal intercourse, and for a long time. Usually with stretching, you’re training to take on toys as large as 2.5 inches in diameter, but it can be more or less than this, depending on the person. ===COLLECTION=== Why People Gape There are plenty of reasons why people get into anal gaping. For some, the appeal comes from the body modification aspect of it. As you stretch your anus more and more, the ring of your anus will begin to look different. It can also be incredibly arousing to see how deep and wide your partner has taken you. Plenty of people like the power play dynamic of gaping, since long periods of anal sex can be viewed as quite dominating and carnal. It’s especially great for those who feel less endowed, as they can physically see how much space they occupied in their partner’s anus. Another reason people are into gaping is the fact that it’s the furthest point you can take your anal sex. Some manufacturers come up with wild, unrealistically-sized dildos, and some like the kinky idea of them. Anal gaping gives you the ability to indulge in your deepest anal fantasies with large anal toys, stretching you to your safest wide point and reaching the highest feeling of fullness. The last reason for practicing gaping is for pure pleasure, of course. Your anus is full of sensitive nerve endings, which is why safe and steady anal play can feel fantastic. As your body stretches out to larger than what is naturally comfortable, the feeling can be incredibly intense. Does It Hurt? It shouldn’t hurt if it’s done right – the most important thing to remember is that the anus isn’t self-lubricating like a vagina, so you need to make sure you have tons of lubricant on hand. The second most important thing is to ease into it slowly and consistently over time. Since gaping is an incredibly intense form of anal, you need to train your anus little by little before attempting to gape. You should also refrain from using any ‘anal ease’ cream or numbing cream of any kind. Other than the fact that it causes you to miss out on the pleasure, you could also be missing out on any potential warning signs. If things are painful to the point of needing numbing cream, you’re pushing your body past its limits and should dial it back. Anal gaping shouldn’t be painful, so if it is, make sure to stop! Like plenty of other kinks, or things that take your body to new levels, there is the risk of going too far on your road to anal gaping. Since the tissue on the inside of your anus is thinner and more sensitive than the rest of your skin, there is a danger of microtears, which is the tearing up of the tender area around your anus. This opens the risk of infection, especially since there are tons of bacteria in the anus, as well as the risk of STIs, so make sure you’re being safe, clean and careful. Another risk is the formation of hemorrhoids, which science indicates isn’t caused by anal sex itself, but by stretching the anal muscle beyond its limitations. That’s why it’s important to work your way into gaping in a patient, safe manner. To avoid going into dangerous territory, you need to be aware of the sensation as you insert anything into your anus. Be aware of sharp pains, or long-lasting soreness. It’s normal to experience some residual soreness for a day or two, especially after something as intense as anal gaping. However, if your soreness lasts longer than that, you’ve probably gone too far, and should take a break for a few days. Is Gaping Permanent? No! It should only last a few hours at most. With regards to stretching, just like most other parts of the body, it usually has a setting point which it will gradually inch back towards. So, if you’re not regularly stretching your anus, it’s possible to lose some stretch and have to work your way back into the ability to gape. This timeframe of loss in stretch can start in as little as a week, but typically takes two or three. In short, you don’t have to worry about being stretched out for life – your body’s musculature will tighten up again with time, especially if you’re regular with your Kegel exercises. Gaping isn’t giving you a bigger butthole; it’s giving you more control of the muscles of your butthole. How to Safely Stretch Your Asshole Anal gaping is one of the most extreme forms of anal play out there, so before attempting, you should experiment with tons of other anal play first. You should be comfortably aware of the sensations of anal toys and what feels comfortable inside your body. When you’re training, be aware of how your anus feels – if you feel no resistance or discomfort in insertion or play, you may be ready to size up! There’s no point in beating around the bush – anal play can bring on your urge to poop. If you want to prevent any potential mishaps, consider using an anal douche to cleanse your behind of any fecal matter. They look a bit like a dropper, and you just fill them up with warm water and sit over the toilet, while squeezing the water from the bulb into your anal tract. You can do this 3-4 hours before playtime. ===COLLECTION=== If you want to be even more immaculate or plan to go deeper than 3 or 4 inches, you should consider getting an enema to flush the rest of the matter out of your rectum. But keep in mind that you shouldn’t perform enema’s too regularly, as they can throw off your electrolyte balance, and cause dehydration and nausea. If you’re doing this alone, the easiest way to engage in anal gaping is to start by lying on your side with your knees bent so that you’re comfortable. Then, reach around to your anus to insert your finger or toy. If you’re doing it with a partner, you can either lie face down and have your partner sit or kneel next to you, or get on all fours and have your partner kneel behind you. You should ensure that your mind and muscles are as relaxed as can be. Have your partner give you a massage, share a hot bath, or engage in some fun foreplay to get in the mood. Next, a key element of your gaping session is going to be lube, and be generous with it. Do not even attempt stretching, let alone gaping without some lube on hand! Silicone-based lubes are great because of their thick consistency and durability, but if you’re using a silicone toy, make sure you use a water-based lube since silicone breaks down silicone. Once you’re relaxed, aroused and lathered in lube, work your way up from smaller objects to larger ones slowly and gradually. It may take a couple of weeks to size up, depending on how frequently you’re training. Either way, listen to your body. Once inside, use a gentle circular or thrusting motion with the toy or penis to help open the sphincters, reapplying lube if you need to take it out for any reason. Motions such as these help to mimic the feeling of your bowels being full, thus tricking the sphincters into opening up and producing a gape. After a good gaping session, wait 2-3 days before doing it again, to allow your anus an appropriate amount of time to recover – remember, gaping is a very intense sexual activity and you’ll want to make sure that you’re being safe. Best Toys for Anal Gaping The thing with toys and anal gaping is that it takes plenty of different toys to get to where you want to be. Since you’re often starting from a less stretched out place, most people need to keep sizing up with toys until you can safely gape. A toy that’s perfect to train with is a butt plug! Their narrow tips which gradually grow are ideal for giving you the comfort and safety of penetrating yourself. You should proceed slowly at first, while eventually working up to the larger point of the toy. Their typically bulb-like shape keeps them snugly secured during all sensual play, and they come in all different sizes, so you can work your way up in magnitude. If you’re on a limited budget or simply don’t want to carry a lot of toys, there are also some toys that can be used for the entire process. These will usually have a finer tip, growing into a large base, which will be quite a few times the size of the tip. Look for something with a tapered, cone-like design and a flared base for a secure grip. Every session, you’ll aim to insert this toy in a bit deeper, but you must be very careful, since it’s easy to over-insert. For that reason, you should only use this kind of toy for anal gaping if you’re in a calm and relaxed environment, with very little movement. Alternatively, if you want to keep it at one toy, you can also opt for an inflatable butt plug to give you more flexibility with your stretch. ===COLLECTION=== The most important thing to remember when choosing toys for any sort of anal play is that they should have a flared base, to ensure there’s no too-deep slippage. Next, you’ll have to figure out what size you’re able to take. To do that, measure the width of the current dildo you use comfortably for anal sex. If you don’t have one, then simply measure the width of your comfortable finger limit. Once you have that number, you should aim for a toy that’s one-quarter to a half-inch larger than your current comfortable size. You can use most kinds of anal toys to work your way into gaping, including dildos or butt plugs, but make sure to always look for a toy that has a tapered tip. Importantly, try and choose a toy that’s phthalate-free, BPA-free and made of silicone. Silicone butt toys are best designed for stretching, and are nonporous and easy to care for. How Far Can You Go? There isn’t an exact number for this – the best thing you can do is to listen to your body. The average rectum is about 5 inches long, but many can take much more than that. Final Words Whether this sounded pleasant to you or utterly terrifying, it’s important to know how to engage in safe anal play, in case you and your partner naturally edge towards gaping territory, or plan to. If you’re ready to take your anal play to the next level, make gaping your next sexual milestone!
