Spreader Bars

Some restraints ask for imagination. This one asks for nothing more than a willing partner and a plan, holding ankles and wrists exactly where you want them so the scene can unfold on your terms.

Buckle a partner into the padded cuffs and the first thing you notice is how the rigid bar keeps everything set apart and steady, none of the drift or sag you get with rope or straps. Position them on hands and knees, or flip the bar to brace against as leverage comes into play. The cushioned cuffs adjust to fit snugly around wrists or ankles, so the hold stays firm without pinching, which means the scene can run long, through spankings, teasing, or whatever else is on the agenda, without either of you thinking about the gear.

This spreader bar from XR Brands is built from sturdy faux leather and metal with a smooth black finish, its cuffs cinching down with buckles for a secure fit. Think of it as a rigid bondage bar ready to anchor whatever scene you have planned.

Some scenes need a little structure. The Enchanted Spreader Bar keeps a partner's ankles or wrists held apart, turning any position you choose into one they cannot easily close up.

It starts with the cuffs. Soft but sturdy, they wrap around ankles or wrists and adjust to fit, closing with a simple hook and loop fastening so getting a partner secured takes seconds. Once both cuffs are in place, the bar between them does the rest, holding the distance open and steady while you decide what happens next. Whether they end up on their feet, bent forward, on their knees or flat on their back, the spread stays fixed until you choose to release it.

Made by Sportsheets in smooth black nylon with hook and loop closures on each cuff, this spreader bar is not intended for suspension play. As far as bondage bars go, it is a solid pick for anyone easing into restraint play with a partner.

Some tools don't need to guess at what they're for. This spreader bar by Sportsheets sets the distance and holds it, giving you a fixed point of restraint to build a scene around.

Start by adjusting it to the length that suits the moment, sliding it open until the index lines confirm it's set right. The smooth aluminum surface feels solid rather than sharp, and the clips on each end are ready to connect with Edge wrist, arm or ankle cuffs, so limbs stay held exactly where you place them. A middle clip adds a second attachment point if you want to layer in more control. Once the scene winds down, the bar breaks apart again, compact enough to pack away or bring along.

In anodized aluminum with nickel-free metal hardware, this spreader bar breaks down for travel and pairs with Edge cuffs for a complete restraint setup.

Meet the piece of hardware that turns wandering hands into a non-issue. The bondage bar goes beyond the standard spreader bar, giving you a fixed, unyielding point of control for restraining wrists, ankles, or both, so your partner stays exactly where you want them.

The lightweight metal bar holds a fixed width and is capped on each end with plastic, so it stays sturdy and strong no matter how much your partner tests it. At each end, a sturdy O-ring holds a set of swivel snap hooks, ready to clip onto cuffs and hold a position without slipping mid-scene. Fasten wrists to ankles, front or back, or connect the bar to an anchor point of your choosing. Stretch their arms wide and let the bar do the holding, or dream up your own configuration entirely. The smooth surface means no snagging or pinching, just a clean connection between however many points you decide to link.

Made by XR Brands in silver metal with plastic end caps, this spreader bar is the fixed structure behind whatever scene you build around it, with cuffs sold separately so you can pair it with your own.

Some scenes call for a partner to stay exactly as open and available as you want them, and this spreader bar set makes that easy to arrange. The faux leather cuffs and metal bar work together to hold a position while leaving plenty of room for creativity.

Start by setting the length with the ring-pull pins, sliding the bar out to fit the moment and the person. The rotatable O-rings let the cuffs turn and shift once everything is locked in place, so a change of angle or position does not mean starting over. The cuffs themselves attach with quick-release clips onto sturdy D-rings, so freeing your partner takes one motion, not a fumble. Because the cuffs detach fully, you can use them on their own for simpler restraint play any time the full bar feels like too much. When the scene winds down, the bar breaks apart into pieces small enough to tuck away or pack for a trip, so this expandable bar stays as easy to store as it is to use.

Electric Novelties made this set in faux leather and metal with a smooth finish available in black or silver. It adjusts to length, breaks down for storage, and includes detachable cuffs with quick-release clips and D-rings.

Some fantasies need a fixed point to really work, and this set gives you exactly that. It pairs a solid metal bar with padded cuffs so you can hold a partner open and in place, hands free to explore.

Start by buckling the faux leather cuffs snugly around wrists or ankles, the padding keeping things comfortable even as the anticipation builds. Clip them to the spreader bar using the swivel snap clips and the position locks in, arms or legs held wide with nowhere to go. With several attachment points along the bar, you can arrange things classically, ankles to the outer ends for full display, or get more creative, cuffs clipped to each other for a hog-tie style hold or shared between partners for group play. The smooth stainless steel bar stays solid throughout, so the only thing moving is your imagination.

Made by Sportsheets in stainless steel and metal hardware with faux leather cuffs finished in black and red, this restraint set is compatible with other pieces in the Saffron collection for building out your play over time.

Position them exactly where you want them, then let the bar do the rest. This Pipedream spreader bar and cuff set locks in wrists or ankles for open, held-apart positions, and swaps between two bar lengths depending on how much stretch you're after.

Start by fastening the adjustable cuffs snugly around wrists or ankles, then clip them onto whichever spread bar suits the scene. The swivel-mounted cuffs let the person wearing them shift and turn instead of staying locked rigid, so the position holds without feeling like a fight. Pick the longer bar for a wide, dramatic spread, or switch to the shorter one for something more compact and manageable. The nylon support strap can be removed entirely once you want to experiment further, opening up other positions beyond the standard spread. Whatever you land on, the set stays easy for a beginner to figure out and still interesting for someone who has played with restraints before.

Made from metal, neoprene and nylon, this spreader bar set is waterproof and comes with a carrying case for spot cleaning and easy travel between bedrooms.

Some restraint systems ask for trust. This one asks for balance, holding a partner spread wide and hovering right above a dildo of your choosing until gravity does the rest of the work.

It starts with the cuffs, padded and locked snug around the ankles, then the spreader bar pulling the stance open into that vulnerable split you're after. The impaler bar rises up between, holding whatever dildo you attach steady and waiting, so every inch your partner lowers themselves is their own doing, not yours. Since the bar, cuffs, and spread are all adjustable, you can fit the hold to whichever body is in it, and the impaler bar lifts out entirely if you'd rather use the spreader on its own to keep your partner open and on display. Two adapters come along for the ride, one for vac-u-lock dildos and a flat base for suction cup favorites, so this squat anal impaler with spreader bar and cuffs works whether you're aiming for anal or vaginal use.

Pair it with a blindfold or gag for a fuller scene, or let it stand alone as the centerpiece. XR Brands built this rig in stainless steel and faux leather with a smooth finish throughout, and it comes with adjustable ankle cuffs and dual dildo adapters, though the dildo itself is sold separately.

Open wide, stay open. The Fetish Fantasy Series Spreader Bar holds a partner's ankles apart so both of you can stop guessing and get straight to the good part.

It starts with the cuffs going on snug but soft, that neoprene lining sitting comfortably against the ankles even as they pull and squirm. Once locked into the bar, closing their thighs simply isn't on the table, which means whatever position you had in mind stays wide open for as long as you want it. The metal bar itself keeps its structure under pressure, so the more they test it, the more they'll feel just how little give this ankle spreader bar has. Pipedream built it to put one partner fully on display while the other calls the shots.

In smooth-surfaced metal with soft neoprene cuff lining, in black or silver, this spreader bar suits beginners who want control without complication.

Some scenes call for a partner who stays exactly where you put them. This spreader bar does the holding for you, keeping limbs spread and anchored so the moment stays right where you left it.

Slide the bar to the length that suits the position you have in mind, then lock it in place with the two metal pins so it holds firm through whatever comes next. Each end carries a securely attached eyebolt, ready to take wrist or ankle cuffs so you can build the stretch and hold you want.

Made by XR Brands in black steel with a smooth finish, this adjustable bar comes with its locking pins included, while cuffs are sold separately so you can pair this spreader bar with the set you already love.

Restraint play gets a lot more interesting when the cuffs can move on their own. This swiveling spreader bar keeps wrists or ankles held apart in a fixed, sturdy line, while its pivoting end cuffs let the wearer shift and rotate rather than staying locked in one rigid position.

Adjust the length to suit the position you have in mind, then fasten the four leather cuffs snugly around wrists or ankles. The two middle cuffs stay fixed in place, anchored by a metal plate for stability. The end cuffs are set on their own pivoting joints that let them turn in practically any direction, so the person wearing them can settle into a more natural position instead of fighting the bar. Each cuff closes with a squared ring ready for a padlock of your choosing.

Made from hollow aluminum for a build that feels light in hand but holds firm once secured, this piece from XR Brands pairs a smooth metal finish with soft leather cuffs, giving the spreader bar with cuffs design a bit more give than the rigid versions.

Some scenes call for a little more hold, and this spreader bar with cuffs is built for exactly that kind of teamwork. It keeps a partner spread and positioned comfortably, with cuffs sized to fit either wrists or ankles.

The cuffs pivot instead of staying rigid, so they stay comfortable rather than digging in as things shift. The bar itself breaks down into sections and adjusts across a range of widths, letting you set the stretch that suits the moment. The smooth black metal finish from XR Brands keeps the look simple and low fuss against skin.

Because it works for wrists or ankles alike, this adjustable spreader bar lets you change positions without changing equipment. Locks are sold separately, so grab a pair before your first use, then pack the sections away just as easily once you are done.

This spreader bar keeps things simple: legs or arms held open, right where you want them. Made by XR Brands from durable steel, it adjusts to a wide range of lengths so you can set things up to suit the moment.

Eyebolts are securely attached to each end, ready for cuffs to clip on and hold wrists or ankles firmly in place. The smooth surface means nothing digs in or catches, just a clean, sturdy line between two points of contact.

Wrist and ankle cuffs can be attached to the bar as you like, making this steel spreader bar a solid addition to any bondage setup. Cuffs are sold separately, so you can build out the combination you want.

A spreader bar takes bondage basics and gives them a firm middle ground, holding your partner exactly where you want them without a single knot to tie. This Sportsheets set pairs a sturdy aluminum bar with soft cuffs, so control feels simple rather than complicated.

Start by sliding the bar to the length that suits the position in mind, since it extends to fit however far apart you want ankles or wrists held. The cuffs wrap snug in neoprene and close with hook and loop, so getting a partner secured takes seconds, not fumbling. Clip each cuff onto the metal D-rings at either end of the bar, and the middle D-ring is there if you want to add another attachment into the mix. The bar itself breaks down into a few pieces, so between scenes it packs away small instead of hogging space. And because the cuffs unclasp from the bar entirely, they work on their own or alongside other restraint gear once you are ready to branch out from this expandable spreader bar and cuffs set.

Wipe down the cuffs and bar after use and store the pieces broken down, ready for the next time you want a partner held firmly in place.

Meet the spreader bar that makes teamwork a little more interesting. The Rouge Adjustable Leg Spreader Bar comes with black leather cuffs at each end, and its length can be adjusted with the included extension, so you can set the spread that suits the moment.

Start by locking the leather cuffs snugly around each ankle. The tubular steel bar has a smooth surface and holds your partner in a spread position that helps with deeper penetration. During face-to-face positions, you can also hold onto the bar itself for extra control and a bit of restriction along the way.

Finished in black with silver hardware, this leg spreader bar from Rouge works equally well as a bondage piece or a position enhancer, so it earns its place in any toy drawer.
