Very soft and smooth to the touch. That’s good for what it’s intended for. I sometimes struggle with the controlling unit, but I use it alone, so it’s not a big issue. It’s still good to know and would be a good improvement.

This is a replacement for my old "Shane" that the base was messed up after 8 years. The newer model is a little stiff on the material and very wrinkly under the head, so it causes some unpleasant friction. Nonetheless, I still love my Shane and would buy it again.
